The Buck/Cardinal Club funds critical scholarships and the necessary resources our nearly 900 student-athletes need to excel in competition, the classroom, and in life beyond the Farm.
Home of Champions Fund
The Home of Champions fund gives Stanford a competitive edge by funding additional scholarships and direct NIL agreements between student-athletes and the Athletics Department to recruit the best student-athletes and maintain competitive rosters.

Q: Is my gift tax-deductible?
A: Yes, philanthropic gifts to the Buck/Cardinal Club, sport specific annual funds, and the Home of Champions Fund are 100 percent tax-deductible. Priority seat contributions in conjunction with an athletics ticket purchase are non-deductible due to the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act. Donations made on Giving Tuesday will not count towards football or men's basketball priority seating requirements.
Q: Is my gift eligible for Buck/Cardinal Club benefits?
A: Yes, any gift made to the Buck/Cardinal Club or the Home of Champions Fund during Giving Tuesday is eligible for benefits. However, gifts made to a specific sport are not eligible for Buck/Cardinal Club benefits.
Q: Can my gift to Stanford Athletics count toward my undergraduate reunion class gift?
A: Yes, gifts to Stanford Athletics count toward your undergraduate reunion class giving total. Reunion gifts can be made as either a one-time gift or a five-year pledge.
